The Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival is a wonderful large event that happens during the early part of Spring every year in Woodburn, Oregon. My wife and I try to go every year. This year the Sun was out, it was warm, and there were hundreds of people in attendance. It was a perfect opportunity to shoot some film. All of the square photos are medium format film.

White River Falls is a fairly powerful waterfall in Central Oregon. It’s in the Tygh Valley roughly 30 miles south of The Dalles. In the past there was a hydroelectric dam below the falls ( structure still remaining) and many people would kayak down the lower tier of the falls.
My wife and I decided to drive that way for the day a couple of months ago. I took photos of the falls between bright sun breaks. In the parking area above us a vintage car club was passing through and showing off their toys. On the way home we drove through a rain storm that yielded to a hail storm so strong we were concerned if I drove anywhere near the speed limit my windshield would break.
The last two photos of the falls were shot on film.
